Simple Present: Questions and Short Answers

El presente simple también se usa para hacer preguntas en inglés. En este post aprenderás cómo hacer preguntas y respuestas cortas usando “do” y “does”.

Usamos el presente simple para hablar de:

Auxiliares:

Sujetos con “do”:

Sujetos con “does”:

Verbos comunes:

Questions

Do/Does + sujeto + verbo + complemento + ?

  • Do you work in a school?
  • Does she study English?
  • Do they play soccer?

Con “he”, “she” y “it”, usamos “does”.

El verbo principal no lleva “-s” después de “does”.

  • Does she study English?
  • NOT: Does she studies English?

Short Answers

Yes + sujeto + do/does

No + sujeto + do/does + not

  • Yes, I do.
  • No, they do not.
  • Yes, she does.
  • No, he does not.

Para hacer preguntas en presente simple usamos:
